Hello,
I am selling my Naim NAP 150 power amplifier. This one was manufactured in 2001, and I'm the second owner. I purchased it from the original owner, a family member, in 2006. It has never been exposed to tobacco, and it comes with the original box, with matching serial number. It sounds absolutely phenomenal, and has stood up to much more expensive source components, preamplifiers, and speakers. At the time that I purchased it, it was a huge leap forward in sound quality from the Naim Nait 5i that I had purchased just two years earlier. This amp kept me happy for a very long time, and I hope it will do the same for you. It has the ability to power a long list of Naim preamplifiers, if you don't have an external power supply such as a FlatCap or HiCap. I'm only selling it because I've upgraded to a Naim NAP 250. Functionally, this amp is perfect. Cosmetically, there are a few nicks/dings that you might expect in an amp of this age. I've done my best to show them in the photos here.
If you are interested in a project, I can also include the NAC 112 that it was originally paired with, however the volume control on that preamp needs to be serviced. The NAC 112 comes in a box for an older Naim integrated amplifier.
Located in San Francisco.
Rated 50 watts RMS into 8 ohms, but drop 250 watts on transients. This is a very dynamic and fun-sounding amp!
4-pin DIN input, banana plug outputs, IEC power cable. Naim recommends that you use their own speaker cable, and I've found it's the best-sounding option.
Asking $650. No lowballs, no trades.
If needed, I have a silver-coated copper 4-pin to 5-pin DIN cable to connect to a Naim preamp or power supply, but there would be a separate cost for that.
