The crossover was built by Don Barringer, Linkwitz's friend and official crossover builder.
The Thors use 1.5 liter Parts Express cabinets. These are are close to the same volume as the standard Thor subs. Any difference in sound is overshadowed by speaker placement and room acoustics. The drivers (not shown in photos) are the Peerless 83500, standard for Thor.
I also have Linkwitz Orion speakers and Emotiva XPA-5 amps for sale.
The speakers are located near downtown Mountain View, and you're welcome to come hear them. They are in a room that measures 12 feet wide and 16 feet deep, with many hard surfaces. Even in a such a small room, they sound great. You can bring CDs or files on a USB drive.
