Came in as a trade-in toward Nightingale Audio Cables. This is a floor-model demo pair with very low hours—essentially in excellent, like-new condition. I inspected them carefully and could not find any cosmetic or functional flaws; they are in perfect shape.
This model exemplifies what Silverline speakers are celebrated for: remarkable efficiency, wide bandwidth, and a natural, effortless musicality. I encounter a lot of speakers, but it’s rare to find a pair that delivers such a complete, well-balanced presentation. The Sonatinas achieve excellent time alignment, tonal accuracy, speed, and dynamics that remain faithful to the source.
When properly set up, these speakers simply disappear into the soundstage—one of those rare designs that lets you forget the hardware and just enjoy the music. Exceptionally efficient, they are easily driven; even a compact 15-watt desktop digital amp powered them beautifully. They’re also an outstanding match for low-wattage tube amplifiers.
Currently, I have them paired with a Schiit Kara preamp and a Bryston 2B SST amplifier, and the synergy is excellent. They’re not overly picky about partnering components, making them an easy fit into a wide range of systems.
Serious buyers are welcome to come for an audition—you really have to hear these to appreciate what they can do.
